In news we didn’t expect to be reporting today, a presentation has seemingly outed the possibility of a mid-gen refresh of the Xbox Series X and PS5.
Thanks to a report from ppe.pl and Tom Henderson on Twitter, images from a presentation hosted by TV manufacturer TCL hint at new consoles coming in 2023 or 2024. As always, keep in mind that the validity of these images has not yet been verified.
While this of course could be mere speculation, it does seem rather specific to not contain some sort of relevance. Of course, we’ll be paying close attention to this as it develops and will update this article with any formal statements from either Xbox or PlayStation.
