With so many big AAA titles releasing at this time of year, it’s easy to overlook some of the indies and remasters that are also arriving. One of the most anticipated is Spyro Reignited which has been a fan favorite since its announcement earlier this year.

Our Take
Spyro is from an age of mascot gaming that has long since left us. But with the success of Crash and the anticipation for Spyro (and the want for Banjo-Kazooie!), it’s clear that gamers from the 90s and early 2000s are anxious to return to a piece of their childhood. This looks like a proper remaster and with the full trilogy being offered for $39.99, we’re really excited to see a new generation of gamers jump in to learn the joys of these games.
