With San Diego Comic-Con kicking off, PlayStation shared more on their upcoming Spider-Man 2 (releasing October 20th). This afternoon the team at PlayStation shared a new story trailer for the game alongside limited edition PS5 bundle that includes a themed controller and plates. The story trailer kicks off with the following synopsis: The Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, enter new chapters in their lives as they balance their responsibilities as protectors of Marvel’s New York. As Harry Osborne, Peter’s best friend, returns into his life, and Miles looks to build his future beyond high school, the relationship between our heroes is tested and strained as the Symbiote appears to threaten them, the city, and the ones they love.
For die-hard fans who want to full engross themselves in Spider-Man 2, PlayStation will also be selling a new bundle that includes a PS5 with themed side plates, a themed controller, and a digital copy of the game. If you already own a PS5, the plates and controller will be available separately as well!
It’s worth noting that players who order the bundle will also get the same pre-order incentive items available to those who pre-order Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, including an early unlock Arachknight Suit for Peter with 3 additional color variants, an early unlock Shadow Spider Suit for Miles with 3 additional color variants, an early unlock Web Grabber gadget, and 3 skill points. Pre-orders for the console bundle will open on July 28th.
