Xbox Showcase Formally Announced for June 9th

As previously rumored, the Xbox Games Showcase has now been officially announced for Sunday, June 9th. The Xbox team detailed the event today via Xbox Wire where they announced the showcase which will be immediately followed by a [REDACTED] event (which is regarding 2024’s Call of Duty entry).

The Xbox Games Showcase will be livestreamed on June 9, 2024, starting at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. Like our double-feature last year with Starfield Direct, immediately following the Showcase we’ll be airing a special deep-dive into the next installment of a beloved franchise. We can’t say much, so for now we’ll call it the Xbox Games Showcase followed by [REDACTED] Direct.

This will also be our first Showcase featuring games from our portfolio of studios across Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, in addition to titles from our third-party partners.

We expect updates on a number of major games including Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, State of Decay 3, Diablo 4, Hollow Knight Silksong, and many more. Just like last year we’ll have a load of coverage leading up to the summer events including Summer Game Fest, the Xbox Games Showcase, IGN Fest, and Ubi Forward. Our Editor-in-Chief, Ainsley Bowden, will also be covering the events live from Los Angeles. Stay tuned!
