In yet another blow to the traditional E3 as we know it, E3 has been canceled for 2022. Not only will the show not go on at the Los Angeles Convention Center, but a digital event has reportedly been canceled as well.
While we are still waiting on an official statement from the ESA, many sources and sites have reported the cancellation. What this means for the future of E3 is unknown at this time. But having been generally irrelevant for three years while other shows have taken its place, we’re not confident it will ever return in “proper” form.
