According to reports from both Bloomberg and Eurogamer this morning, a new Assassin’s Creed game is in development by Ubisoft that will sit outside of Infinity.
The game was originally intended to be a large expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but has since taken on a shape of its own. It will feature Basim as the lead character and flesh out the events prior to Valhalla. You can also expect the game to be much smaller in scope than Valhalla or Odyssey.
If the reports are true, it will feature the city of Baghdad and focus more on the stealth aspects of Assassin’s Creed rather than the large open-world RPGs of more recent entries.
We’ll share more details on this exciting new entry as soon as they come to light!
