Xbox Game Pass Subscriber Count Continues to Escalate

Xbox Game Pass has caused a lot of buzz around the industry lately, and for good reason. The service continues to deliver meaningful experiences, and with titles such as MLB The Show 21 and Outriders launching on it, the value only continues to increase.

Xbox had previously reported that subscriber count had blossomed to over 18 million early this year. But just this morning our friend over at Windows Central Gaming, Jez Corden, confirmed that the service has added 5 million more subscribers in the last quarter thus taking the service to 23+ million.

The growth is no doubt impressive, but it shouldn’t be all too surprising. Growth in subscription services typically compounds as the subscriber number grows, and with bigger titles launching day and date into Game Pass, it will likely continue. If the rumors of titles like Battlefield 6 are true, be prepared for Game Pass to blow past 30 million before the end of the year.
