PlayStation Details Days Gone for PC

Another first-party PlayStation title is riding its way to PC. This time it’s Days Gone and it will launch on May 18th on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Via the PlayStation Blog, the Online Community Specialist at Bend Studio, Kevin McAllister, provided details of what players can expect on the new platform.

  • Take on the relentless Old Sawmill horde with 21:9 ultra-wide monitor support. Come across various enemies in this harsh open world including humans, wildlife and feral creatures known as Freakers, with unlocked framerate. Fighting hordes that range up to 500 Freakers at one time has never felt so real.
  • Capture the realistic and detailed world of Days Gone through the new super resolution photo mode.
  • Traverse the vast Farewell Wilderness with our new display customization options that include increased level of detail, foliage draw distances and graphical customization. Play Days Gone the way you want to play. Use 1st and 3rd party controllers, or ride the Broken Road with input support for mouse and keyboard.

Our Take

We love seeing more PlayStation first-party games arriving on PC as it’s a chance for new players to experience games they might not have otherwise. While Days Gone wasn’t our favorite title here at SG, it does have a broad community of support.
