In an interesting, and funny, string of events, the Xbox Mini-Fridges will now officially be manufactured by Xbox.
Over the past week, Twitter Marketing held a contest for the best brand and the finals ended up being Xbox versus Skittles. This created a wealth of conversation on Twitter and of course, communities rallying behind their favorite brands. When Skittles decided to up the ante by offering to bring back lime flavored Skittles if they won, GM of Marketing for Xbox, Aaron Greenberg, followed suit. He offered to bring the Xbox Mini-Fridge to full production should Xbox pull out the win.
The poll ended just a short while ago and Xbox won by 1% in the end. Thus, Xbox owes us some fridges!
