As a surprise special prior to Night City Wire Episode 5 coming later this week, CD Projekt Red held a short live stream this morning to demo Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox consoles.
Footage was shared from both the Xbox One X and Xbox Series X and keep in mind, the Series X footage is running in current state; meaning the full “optimized patch” for the Series X (and PS5) is not coming until some time in 2021.
Our Take
This was a great surprise today as there have been many questions surrounding how Cyberpunk 2077 will run on Xbox Ones and PS4s. Even on the One X, the game looks very impressive and so it seems players are in for a treat come December 10th – regardless of platform choice!
