In a new report courtesy of Jason Schreier over at Bloomberg, it seems harsh changes are on the way for one of the most recognized studios in the gaming industry. Per the report, Electronic Arts will lay off approximately 400 roles in the near future.
Of those, they also plan to shutter BioWare, the legendary studio behind beloved franchises like Dragon Age and Mass Effect. As part of the closing, it also means that the planned, new Mass Effect game has also been cancelled.
