Nintendo has announced a new entry in the Hyrule Warriors series titled Age of Calamity. The title is set 100 years prior to the events of Breath of the Wild and is co-developed by Nintendo and KOEI Tecmo.
Hyrule Warriors : Age of Calamity will launch on November 20th for the Switch. You can find more detail from some of the development team via this video they released as part of the announcement!
Our Take
Launching on November 20th, this seems like one of Nintendo’s big titles for the fall and obviously being tied to Zelda is always big news. It will be interesting as well to see if this sets any foundation for the Breath of the Wild sequel that is likely coming in 2021. Either way, we’re excited!
