Sony had their showcase a few weeks ago and in just a couple of days, it will be Xbox’s time to shine. Expectations for the show are extremely high, particularly as the Xbox team wants to make sure the community understands just how large their investment in new games is leading up to the Series X’s launch this fall. Well if what we’re hearing is true, it certainly won’t be a let-down.
If you’re reading this then you know we don’t dabble in unfounded rumors nor do we spoil anything for fans, but we’ve heard from several trustworthy sources now that we’ll not only see new IP(s) as expected, but also a few surprising returns…and not necessarily just from the Xbox IP back-catalog.
In short, everyone is going to want to tune in on Thursday. As a reminder, the pre-show begins at 8am PST / 11am EST / 5pm CEST with the core show beginning an hour later. Additionally, there will be a post-show with some Xbox team members and developers to give you deeper looks at some of the titles shown. You can watch live via the Xbox YouTube channel in 1080p/60fps and a 4K/60fps VOD will be available immediately afterwards.
