Not a couple days after the Far Cry 6 leak occurred due to a PSN listing, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s release date has seemingly been thanks to a social media blunder.
The following advertisement was posted on Instagram and then quickly removed. But as with all leaks on the internet, it was quickly saved and shared. It would seem that we’ll head to Valhalla on November 17th. For those keeping track, that would place it a mere 2 days prior to Cyberpunk 2077.
Honestly, we would have expected Valhalla to release in October to give it a long buffer prior to the release of Cyberpunk 2077. Presumably, with the PS5 and Series X releasing in November, that would have given players a few weeks prior to receiving their free upgrades on the new consoles. But with launching at the same time as Cyberpunk and both titles being open-world RPGs, we have to imagine it will impact sales to some degree.
