We’ve reported a couple of times on some of the rumors and information circling around in the community regarding Xbox reviving classic IPs. Near the top of the list have been Fable and more recently, Perfect Dark. With the July showcase only a couple of weeks away, it seems we have a few more sticks to throw on the fire.
Recently new Twitter “Placeholder” accounts were registered for Fable and Perfect Dark. Now we’ve seen some fakes before in this regard so typically it doesn’t make much noise. But in this case, the one account only has a single follower and it’s an Xbox Employee. Meanwhile the other is registered to an official Xbox email address.
Tom Warren commented on the same earlier today:
Iām not sure who discovered the @fable and @PerfectDarkGame placeholders, but a Microsoft Xbox employee is following one, and the other is registered to a Microsoft email address š pic.twitter.com/MagqUbPiZf

Our Take
The rumblings we’re hearing about the July event are sounding better and better and we have little doubt that Xbox is going to bring the heat. If they can showcase a large lineup of titles featuring both new IPs and the re-imagining of classic IPs like Fable and Perfect Dark, you’ll have our full attention. We’ll know for sure soon…
