Outriders, the new co-op online shooter from People Can Fly (Bulletstorm), debuted via earlier this year to a very positive reception. Launching later this year and also one of the first titles announced for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Outriders looks to replicate the experience of other popular online shooters while offering a unique take in several areas.
A new teaser was shared by the team in preparation for a gameplay broadcast that will be held on May 28th at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 6pm CEST. These broadcasts will be held once a month and highlight new features, worlds, enemies, and more.
Our Take
Outriders looks like it has a load of potential though we can’t help but comment on the similarities to Destiny. We hope that it has its own unique identity while avoiding the pitfalls other games have suffered in this genre; notably a weak end-game and poor loot design. We’re excited to see more.
