Grounded, the latest title from Obsidian Entertainment, surprised fans when it debuted. Near immediately the “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” references began and of course the all-important “When can I try it?” question was asked. Fortunately the answer is: very soon.
A demo of the title will be made available on Xbox and Steam on June 9th. On Xbox you’ll need to sign up as part of the Insider Program to participate (which you can do here).
The game will then enter Steam Early Access and the Xbox Preview Program on July 28th. It will automatically be included for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers as well. If you’d like to learn more, we suggest Xbox’s 21 minute video below!
Our Take
Grounded looks like a lot of fun and seems to contain some unique ideas. We just hope it has the depth to sustain play for a group over an extended period of time. Will you be jumping in on June 9th?
