There have been a wealth of rumors relating to Resident Evil 8 over the past couple of weeks and we’ve been careful to share many of them due to their sources.
However, a fresh rumor is out this morning which seems to have more validity based on what we’ve heard. Here are the details:
- It is titled Resident Evil Village
- Chris Redfield will be a central focus for the title.
- Ethan, the protagonist from RE7, returns.
- The game will be set in Europe.
- Inventory management has been updated and will function more similarly to RE4.
- Most interesting, the game will apparently confuse the player as to what is real and what isn’t.
- Along those lines, a core enemy is a Witch who haunts and torments the player.
