Since E3 was cancelled, fans have been waiting to see how the major publishers will present their game announcements through digital avenues. Well at least in Bethesda’s case, they will not be hosting any digital event in June.
Pete Hines, Senior Vice President at Bethesda, made the announcement vita Twitter this morning.
Given the many challenges we're facing due to the pandemic, we will not host a digital Showcase in June. We have lots of exciting things to share about our games and look forward to telling you more in the coming months.

Now the question many are asking of course is, is this just a joke due to April Fools? We’re not sure but at this point, we’re taking Pete on his word.
Our Take
We HOPE this is a joke as it would be disappointing not to hear from Bethesda especially given this being the year we were supposed to finally see Starfield. But assuming it’s true, we do understand the challenges for major companies right now and hope Bethesda finds a way to celebrate with fans later in 2020.
