The next Operation in Gears 5 will be titled Gridiron with the full details being shared next week.
As part of the tease, The Coalition used an image of Cole and Clayton with Cole holding a flag. As Gears fans know, Operation 2 introduced Free for All so it won’t be surprising to see Operation 3 introduce another new game mode like Capture the Flag.
Our Take
With the 2020 release schedule heating up, it’s going to be hard for games like Gears 5 to continue to draw an audience beyond the die-hards. However, it’s still an excellent game that we continue to enjoy and are excited to see what’s introduced in Operation 3.
