90’s Aladdin and The Lion King Remasters are coming this Fall

This was a little surprise out of nowhere and something many will be excited about. It’s safe to say that the latest movies from Disney have garnered some interest in these franchises and bringing back some nostalgia is a safe play.

The collection is being developed by Nighthawk Interactive and Digital Eclipse and will include both the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo and Game Boy versions of Lion King. Aladdin will include Sega Genesis and Nintendo Game Boy versions, along with something called the Final Cut and a 1993 trade show demo.

Release date is currently set on 10/29/2019 and will retail for $29.99 USD. It will be available for PS4, X1 and Switch.

Our Take

What a great way to replay a classic set of games. These were some of our favorite games of the 90s and we can’t wait to get our hands on them.
