As the ramp up to Borderlands 3 continues, we’re seeing more and more promotion of the prior titles to build the hype. Xbox is jumping in on it this weekend by giving Xbox Live subscribers the ability to play Borderlands Game of the Year Edition for free all weekend.
The download will set you back about 15gb and is also Xbox One X enhanced with the ultra 4K pack (which you can download separately).
Our Take
This is a great opportunity to jump back into Borderlands for free. While the original is quite dated now, it’s still a fun play with great characters and humor. If you were looking for an excuse to give it another go, it seems like you’re set!
