The latest Inside Xbox debuted today and with it, a bunch of Xbox related news and updates. Here’s the full summary:
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription officially unveiled. This will include Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for $14.99 a month.
- The Sea of Thieves anniversary update was then discussed. Of course, we already had you covered with a full summary.
- The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition was officially unveiled. As expected, it will retail for $249 and include Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3, and Sea of Thieves. It will also offer 3 months of Game Pass for just $1.
- New gameplay of Rage 2 was shown highlighting the open world and more of the mayhem you can expect.
- Rod Fergusson, head of The Coalition, brought a load of Gears of War news.
- There will be a provisional Gears 5 tournament on TBS on June 14th. It will be the first time Gears 5 multiplayer will be shown and will be the start of the new ELeague.
- A new Gears of War comic series is launching in May.
- Gears POP! is nearly ready for launch and in beta now. Side note, Porshapwr is testing the game as we speak!
- Ninja Gaiden 2 was added to the Backwards Compatibility list and is Xbox One X enhanced. In addition, 5 more Xbox 360 games have been enhanced:
- Splinter Cell Blacklist, Conviction, and Double Agent.
- Fable 2 and 3.
- Xbox Game Bar is being updated extensively for Windows 10 PC players.
- Warhammer Chaosbane arrives on June 4th but there is a final closed beta that starts on Thursday. If you pre-order the title on the Xbox store, you are guaranteed access.
- On April 19th, the site for Xbox Fanfest will go live so you can attempt to secure your spot for Fanfest.
- An interview with Phil Spencer discussed E3 plans and small preview of whats to come.
