F1 2019 : Releasing 2 months earlier in 2019

Codemasters recently revealed that F1 2019 will not launch in August launch window as usual. F1 2019 will release 2 months earlier this year on Friday June 28th worldwide.

This lands on the weekend of the Austrian Grand Prix which will be a first in the F1 franchise. Codemasters mentioned that this year’s game has been in production for nearly 2 years, making it the most ambitious release compared to the 1 year development cycle we are accustomed to seeing.

New to the series is the ability to make your own livery which will be able to be played in single player and multiplayer.

Our Take:

Bert is one of F1’s biggest fans and has been following the game series since the early 2010’s. He’ll be reviewing this title after putting some time into the numerous modes and looks forward to this exciting release. We can’t wait to see what this longer development time brings to the series.
