During a livestream recently, Bandai-Namco announced a new Dragon Ball Z card game titled Super Dragon Ball Heroes : World Mission. However, with fans expecting more announcements for FighterZ, they were left disappointed. To appease fans, Bandai-Namco revealed they are working on a brand new Dragon Ball Z game that fans would surely love.
The new title was teased briefly on social media but the posts have since been taken down. As you would expect however, anxious fans had already saved the information. For now, we know the title is named Project Z and will be an action role-playing game.
You can expect to hear more details during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals on January 26th.
Our Take
Dragon Ball FighterZ has been a tremendous hit for Bandai-Namco. The possibilities for an action RPG in that universe are broad and we’re very excited to see what they have in store. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more!
