Treyarch and Activision have announced that a week-long free trial of Blackout is coming for all platforms. It will begin tomorrow, January 17th and run through next Wednesday the 24th.

Our Take
This is a great way to get more people playing Blackout to see if they enjoy COD’s take on Battle Royale. What this means for the future of Blackout is interesting though as right now you must own a copy of Black Ops 4 to play. But if the mode is available to play in a stand-alone state, it could mean they have future plans to go free to play a la Fortnite. Time will tell, but for now, enjoy!
