Well this is a nice surprise. Here at SG, we’ve talked recently about our love of the Onimusha series and point to it as one that Capcom needs to revive. It seems as though Capcom has heard our pleases as an HD update of Onimusha is on the way to the Xbox One and PS4 in January titled Onimusha Warlords.
Our Take
While we certainly appreciate Capcom bringing back the Onimusha series in some form, this is really the least common denominator. We hope this is merely a test to gauge interest or a setup for something larger in a new entry or full remaster a la Resident Evil 2. We can hope!
