Microsoft certainly isn’t wasting any chance it gets to promote PUBG on the Xbox. After the announcement that over 4 million players were active on the Xbox One version of the game, they have now announced a new Xbox One S bundle that includes the hit title. It will include the Xbox One S with a 1tb internal drive, a download code for PUBG, a 14 day Live Gold trial, and 1 month Game Pass trial for $299.99.
Our Take
We’ve talked endlessly about our love for PUBG and knowing how popular it’s become on Xbox in just a short time, this news doesn’t surprise us one bit. What we’re more curious about is with two weeks until this bundle launches, there are still quite a few bugs to work out the title. So it wouldn’t surprise us one bit if they are actively working on a large update to address several known issues prior to this bundle arriving in stores. We certainly hope that’s the case.
