We received our first look at the 2nd anniversary update that will be coming to Rocket League on July 5th. Some of the details of the update from Psyonix:
Overflowing with cool new features like our FREE Arena, ‘Champions Field’ and new customization options for Goal Explosions, Trails, and Engine Sounds, the 2nd Anniversary Update also brings with it the start of Competitive Season 5, new Trophies and Achievements, and the introduction of Rocket League Radio featuring Monstercat and 18 new songs! A brand new Crate, two new Import cars, Season 4 completion awards, and plenty more is also included.
Rocket League has been the darling of indie titles this generation have sold tens of millions of copies and fostering a very healthy community both in the casual and competitive scenes. It’s great to see Psyonix continuing to keep the game fresh even two years after it’s initial release!
