The team at Night Street Games is a big fan of classic capture the flag multiplayer matches. So much so, they’re building an entirely new game around it. Enter Last Flag, a game that’s aimed on re-creating the hide-and-seek experience many of us played as children. At its core, the concept is simple: hide your flag, find enemy flags, and capture them. But of course, in a fast paced, multiplayer shooter, that becomes an entirely different thing.
At Summer Game Fest, we chatted with CEO Mac Reynolds and Game Director Matthew Berger about the experience of debuting their game at SGF, what they’re aiming for with Last Flag‘s design, and what they want players to experience.
