Blizzcon 2023 is well underway and as one of the biggest surprises of the day, the first expansion for Diablo 4 has been announced. Titled “Vessel of Hatred” it’s set to arrive in late 2024.
According to the early details, Vessel of Hatred will continue the story from the main game with a focus on the Prime Evil Mephisto. It’s also set to introduce a new region to Sanctuary and a new class that has “never before seen in the Diablo universe before.”
Any further details are scarce but we expect it will be a major focus for the team next summer and now that Blizzard is part of Xbox, we may even see Diablo 4 as part of the Summer Show. We’ll have more details when they are shared!
