E3 Has Been Officially Canceled by the ESA and ReedPop

That day is here. The day we all saw coming to some degree but denied being a reality. After a rebrand and former confirmation that E3 was returning in 2023 in a new way, it has been officially canceled by the ESA and organizer ReedPop.

Things began to look a little shaky when major companies such as Nintendo, Ubisoft, Sega, and more began saying they were not going to attend. With PlayStation already out and Xbox doing their own thing, it begged the question of what E3 was going to end up being. In the end the answer is “nothing at all.”

We’ll certainly miss it, and for those who have been fans of Seasoned Gaming for years now, know the experiences we shared in 2018 and 2019 were special to us. We hope to one day relive such times again. Until then, we look forward to Summer Game Fest on June 8th and Xbox’s presentation on June 11th. More on those and other summer shows as they develop!
