While Year One of the Halo Championship Series wrapped up in October in Seattle, those interested in competitive Halo play have an event to keep their eyes peeled to this weekend.
Spacestation Gaming is hosting the Spartan Snowdown event today and tomorrow with several HCS pro-teams and open qualifiers competing for their share of $25,000. It will be a nice preview prior to the official HCS Year Two kickoff in Charlotte next month.
The action kicks off today (Friday, January 13th) at 9am PST on Spacestation’s Twitch channel. With many of the top players in the world competing and a well-known casting crew, it should make for a fun couple of days!

Of course, those who follow HCS closely will be keeping their eyes peeled on the Spacestation team itself. If you weren’t aware, Spacestation’s Halo team is now the Cloud9 team from Year One who were one of the most dominant teams all season long.
