It seems that Sony wants to continue to expand their PlayStation IPs into movies and/or series. With The Last of Us in production as we speak for HBO, a few others are reportedly on their way.
First, Horizon is being adapted for Netflix. This seems to be a full series similar in scope to the HBO production of The Last of Us though no further details are known at this time.
Next, it was previously rumored that a God of War series would be coming to Amazon. This has now been confirmed during PlayStation’s Business Briefing. Again, no details have been shared at this time.
Lastly, Gran Turismo will also be adapted into a live-action production. No service has been announced at this time.
