CD Projekt Red announced this morning that the planned second quarter release date for the Witcher 3 upgrade will be missed. Apparently, development is being brought back in-house due to some of the tensions in Russia at the moment and development previously being handled by a Russian-based development team. There is no new date at this time though, CDPR will update fans as soon as possible.
We have decided to have our in-house development team conduct the remaining work on the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We are currently evaluating the scope of work to be done and thus have to postpone Q2 release until further notice. 1/2
