There’s a lot of excitement for Halo Infinite in the air and the latest rumor is sure to add more fuel to the fire.
The latest rumor is that Halo Infinite could launch with 23 multiplayer maps across Arena and Big Team Battle. While we normally wouldn’t put much stock into rumors, the information comes from a reliable data-miner who has proven correct in the past.
The user, who goes by Surasia on Twitter, has said that data mining shows 23 maps listed in the files. Through several clarifications, they have also confirmed they are unrelated to Forge canvases, and that the data is not merely from the technical preview. They also noted that there will be two Big Team Battle maps in the next flight.
Yeah but halo infinite launches with 23 maps and is free 😳 https://t.co/x1SI9nDd8t

Our Take
Take it with a relative grain of salt at the moment, but if Halo Infinite launches with anywhere near 23 maps, it will be a big win for the franchise and for players. It won’t be long until we know the full details from 343 directly!
