One of the strangest rumors that has popped up over the past week related to Blue Box Game Studios and a supposed connection to Hideo Kojima and a Silent Hill Reboot. We’re not going to rehash all of the connections that a portion of the community were chasing down, instead we’re simply sharing the message from the Studio Head which makes it clear there is no “secret” association.
Blue Box is currently developing Abandoned, a game that was previously announced at the most recent PlayStation State of Play. With rumors running rampant, Hasan from Blue Box took to Twitter to once and for all set the record straight. That is, they are a small, passionate development team working on Abandoned as previously announced.

Our Take
Sadly it seems to be with regularity that misinformation spreads wildly online nowadays. We applaud Hasan for posting the video to explain the situation and we wish Blue Box nothing but the best in completing their game.
