The first “next-gen” title shown alongside the Xbox Series X was Hellblade 2 and as the original was so acclaimed, expectations for the sequel are sky-high. It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Ninja Theory on it, but today during Xbox’s Extended Showcase, we received a small update.
You can find the latest update here via a three minute video that provided insight into the world and gameplay development. Hellblade 2 is being developed for Unreal Engine 5 and will also utilize the latest technology from Epic Games for character modeling. It is set to be a true showcase.
