Sega has been on a roll lately with the Yakuza and Judgment games and it sounds as though they are aiming to capitalize on that success more in the future.
According to an interview with Famitus, and translated by Nibellion on Twitter, Sega stated that Like a Dragon was the most successful title in the franchise’s history. Given that success, they would aim to release on all platforms simultaneously in the future.
SEGA's Shuji Utsumi told Famitsu that Yakuza 7 was the most successful title in the franchise worldwide
He also stated that SEGA wants to "globally expand" ATLUS games by releasing them simultaneously worldwide and possibly on multiple platformshttps://t.co/NaEuCooXv7 pic.twitter.com/uF6YtLRTco

Our Take
We adored Like a Dragon and hearing that Sega wants to provide the Yakuza games to more players in the future is definitely good news. We hope that more publishers consider the same going forward!
