PGA Tour Golf from Electronic Arts was once a big title in the EA Sports lineup but after running their course with Tiger Woods titles several years ago, they abandoned the franchise. But it’s back!
PGA Tour is the beginning of a new long-term agreement between the PGA Tour and EA. The title will run on the next-gen Frostbite engine and feature “stunning fidelity, breathtaking immersive environments, and approachable, dynamic gameplay”. The company issued the following news on the upcoming title:
In EA SPORTSPGA TOUR, golf fans will be able to build their virtual career and experience the sights, sounds, and thrills of the PGA TOUR including THE PLAYERS Championship, FedExCup Playoffs and more unforgettable events. The game will also feature many of the world’s most famous courses where fans will have the option to play against and as some of the biggest names in professional golf. More EA SPORTS PGA TOUR news will be revealed in the coming weeks and a launch date will be announced in the coming months.
