As expected, the delays to major titles continue. This time, Gran Turismo 7 has been delayed to 2022.
The news came out of a GQ interview with PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan which you can find here.
And as for Sony’s publishing timetable for the year? Well, Covid has been up to no good again and booted Gran Turismo 7 back to 2022.
Our Take
This one is rather surprising especially considering this was touted as a “launch window” title for the PlayStation 5 prior to launch. While we would expect minor delays, an entire year+ seems extensive. Regardless, we love what we’ve seen from GT7 so far and are greatly anticipating a return to the full, numbered entries of GT in the future.
