Assassin’s Creed Valhalla : Deep Dive, Interview, and New Screenshots!

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the biggest games launching this fall and will no doubt be a showcase on everyone’s shiny new Xbox Series and PS5 consoles. Today, Ubisoft gave players a much deeper look at the world they will soon inhabit with a deep dive game world video, an interview with Narrative Director Darby McDevitt, alongside some gorgeous new screenshots. Deep Dive

Learn everything you need to know about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the Deep Dive Trailer! Explore how to grow your settlement, customize your Viking, and even journey to new worlds as you expand your clan’s influence throughout England…and beyond.


Narrative

Today we are sharing with you an exclusive interview about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with none other than Narrative Director Darby McDevitt following our test of a new demo of the game! In the interview we touched upon several hot topics like the Settlement, Eivor and Sigurd’s relationship, a prophecy that Eivor receives in the early stages of the story, the Hidden Ones Bureau, the Zealots and the Order of the Ancients in the game, the mythological aspects, the potential to travel to America or Vinland as it was called, the three main narrative arcs in the game and Modern day and whether Layla’s character can be redeemed.


Accessibility

One of the focuses for the development teams at Ubisoft is accessibility. Today, the AC Valhalla team detailed the many options they are providing players. It’s a very long list which you can find here.
