Xbox FanFest has been an on-going program within Xbox to celebrate its fans and the Xbox community. Most recently, FanFest celebrated its 5 year anniversary last year at E3. However, given the global pandemic it’s been impossible to bring fans together for an outing. And thus, Xbox has announced they are going “digital”.
The fans have asked for it and we’re delivering. Xbox FanFest is now a combination of exclusive physical and digital events, content, sweepstakes, merch, and more! We are excited to allow more fans the ability to participate with the Xbox community. By registering for Xbox FanFest, you unlock exclusives across Xbox hosted events, promotions, and curated online experiences hosted just for you.
The details were announced via a new blog post which notes that initial sign up will occur on October 12th. The site will then be updated with on-going events that you can opt-into and you’ll earn 100 Microsoft points merely for signing up.
Our Take
We’ve talked at length about how Xbox seems to really focus on its fans more than Sony or Nintendo so we continue to applaud the efforts here. We’re anxious to see what they have in store!
