Ubisoft is ramping up coverage of Watch Dogs Legion as they approach launch of the title on October 29th. This morning we got new looks at the main story, the post-launch update plans, and a wealth of new gameplay. Enjoy!

After a mysterious assailant initiates devastating terror attacks on London, DedSec, a secret underground resistance who is being blamed for the attacks and is on the brink of annihilation, needs your help. Your mission is to rebuild DedSec to fight back against those who wish to keep London oppressed. You will continue to meet colorful characters along the way – both villains and allies – in your fight for London.
Post-Launch Update Plans
The year one roadmap for Watch Dogs: Legion features free game updates, an expansive narrative addition with the Season Pass featuring Aiden Pierce, and a full Online mode post-launch.
- December 3rd – first post-launch update includes the online mode for Legion which includes 4 player co-op missions, dynamic events, and “Tactical Ops” which are dedicated co-op missions. It will also include the first PvP mode “Spider-Bot Arena” which is a 8 player deathmatch mode using spider-bots along with the returning “Invasion” mode.
- Free updates will also be provided over time for the campaign including new characters, abilities, missions, and New Game Plus.
- Meanwhile, the Season Pass will include “Bloodline” which will continue the story of Aidan Pearce (Watch Dogs) and include Wrench from Watch Dogs 2. It will also include new “Hero” characters including a cross-over with Assassin’s Creed.
Developer Live Stream with New Gameplay
In case you missed it, Ubisoft also held a new live demo of Legion this morning with members of the development team including Game Director Clint Hocking.
