We knew it was coming, but now we have a leaked listing to confirm it.
A Finnish website has the listing up which confirms the trilogy is remastered and will be available in a special collection that shows as available on October 30th according to the store. However, we’ve been informed that the package will not release this year but rather in early 2021 as a “Legendary Edition” (which was seemingly confirmed by Jeff Grubb at Venturebeat as well).
Remaining details are scarce at the moment, but we will keep you up to date as we learn more.
Our Take
Mass Effect is one of the greatest RPG trilogies in gaming and so we know there are many players like us anticipating this greatly. We just hope that true care has been put into making the remake/remaster something special.
