We’ve been talking about the Xbox Series S, aka “Lockhart”, for some time now. It’s really no secret that Xbox has a second next-generation console in the works.
However, while we’ve shared information and many others across the industry have spoken and speculated about it, we now have official Xbox packaging that mentions it directly. This controller packaging was shared by TinyRakan on Twitter who had previously shown a white version of the next-generation Xbox controller.
Our Take
We fully expect Xbox to announce their next event this week (for later in the month) in which we believe they will discuss launch, pricing, and perhaps the Series S details for later this year. One thing is for certain, it’s going to be nice in a couple of months for all of the speculation for both Xbox and PlayStation to end!
