As part of Summer Game Fest, Geoff Keighley and PlayStation teamed up for a live stream today to announce Unreal Engine 5 for the next-generation. They did so using a “real-time demo” that was running on PlayStation 5 hardware.

Our Take
It’s already been a fun week for gaming and this announcement makes it just that much better. We’re very excited to see what the next Unreal Engine will provide in next-generation consoles and PCs and this demo certainly got our blood pumping. It’s only going to get better from here!
