A German site GameStar has released the first screenshots of the upcoming Lord of the Rings Gollum game from Warner Brothers. The title was one of the first announced for the next-generation consoles and will likely be showcased at one of the upcoming events over the next several weeks (possibly even Thursday at the Xbox Event).
Our Take
The Lord of the Rings games have been critically praised and loved by fans for the most part so we’re anxious to see what the team(s) can do with next-gen hardware. From the looks of it, and just knowing the character, we have to imagine the title will focus more heavily on stealth while still allowing the player to explore massive environments.
