Season 2 of Modern Warfare is now live and after you’ve installed the mammoth 68gb update, you’re greeted with a new video as a welcome. As part of that video introduction, it seems Infinity Ward chose to tease their fans with upcoming content.
As we speculated months ago, it seems a new battle royale mode is indeed on the way for Modern Warfare. The video shows a massive new map, players jumping out of a plane, and a distinctive green gas ring enclosing on the map at the end.

Our Take
We are very, very excited about this. Blackout was a great first attempt at Battle Royale in the Call of Duty franchise and with Modern Warfare being such a solid multiplayer title, we’re excited at the prospect of a “MW feeling” Battle Royale title. All we need now is a date!
