Axiom Verge was one of the biggest indie game darlings of 2015 and saw large success both critically and commercially over the past few years. There was a large amount of excitement therefore when it was announced today during Nintendo’s Indie Showcase, that Axiom Verge 2 would be arriving on the Switch next year.

Axiom Verge was an excellent title and paid a fantastic homage to Metroid. It’s very exciting to see that a sequel is finally on the way!
